New research from Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, has shown that it is possible for some information to be inherited biologically through chemical changes that occur in DNA. During the tests they learned that that mice can pass on learned information about traumatic or stressful experiences – in this case a fear of the smell of cherry blossom – to subsequent generations.

Also, if the (woefully shrinking) reading public is just finding out about this now, the elite probably knew or suspected it long ago, and funded the research to prove it.  It explains why supposedly perfectly rational “white” people would willingly forfeit their history to identify with the elite.  Perhaps the learned fear of the Moor made it that much easier to trade those diamonds of heritage for the shiny beads of conformity.

Though they were at considerably more risk from their neighbors, the Moor looked substantially different, and this kind of traumatic memory is easier for the senses to latch onto than political stance.
