What guys would rather do, can get away with doing, and are willing to do, are different things. They also change with experience and age.
As Arpagus told me, and he is so right, you have to take a good bit of what guys online say about looks with a grain of salt. Sometimes they’re not as picky about objective beauty offline as they seem online (and it often shows in their ratings and in the photos of their real life parners). Sometimes they have a kind of hatred for beautiful women, so they harp on one imperfection to try to make someone feel unduly bad about themselves.
At the end of the day, if I don’t have a problem getting approached by 20-30-something guys (though I get downrated when I tell them my age), then an actual 20-30-something Black woman with no major defects should have no problem meeting the “floor”. Really, if you’re taking care of yourself, you’re definitely pretty enough for general purpose. After that, it is about your attitude, and whether you fit into their social/family sphere.
