He got into some occultism, Dragon Rouge, when he was younger, but bailed out when “things started getting weird”. Who gets into that without hoping things will “get weird”? Who isn’t thrilled when they figure out the world is indeed round, and the Universe is indeed bigger than the seen? Who isn’t as thrilled when something on the altar moves, a spell works, or a divination is accurate, as they are the first time one of their electrical experiments in elementary school works? Science is fun, the occult sciences included. It was like hearing a would-be electrical engineer saying they abandoned their studies because they turned on a light.
Now that the money behind the former president will shift back to corporate goals and there is no more need to sustain the same level of propagandizing, I wonder what the demon sperm people will do now. I wonder if the Kracken will wake up and realize that he was manipulated into revealing himself to be too much of a sheep for me to ever consider letting him touch me again. Probably not. Most likely he will justify it in his mind somehow. His favorite former president spent the past few days attempting to undermine the very institutions responsible for his election. His supporters already hate democracy, a little tidbit that was left out of most of their campaigning. The running belief in the not so alt right is that only men, usually “white” men, should be voting. Some are already whining that if only “white” men could vote, they would have won, so they want to burn the country down and/or start a “race” war.
Something really disturbing that I found out in the past four years of U.S. exported but blamed on Russia nastiness, is that many of the Israelis who supported demonspermism were not duped who didn’t know their guy was nazi adjacent. We have folks living here in Israel who I guess wish they didn’t, who believe in that garbage fully with no illusions that he is a “friend of the Jews”. They know he’s only the kind of friend who is just catering to apocalyptic “christians” who want to own Israel to accelerate the end of the world or somesuch. They don’t care. He soothes their self pity and lets them think they are in the “white” club.
I’ve had to disassociate from a few people here because aside of revealing themselves to be human filth, ties with grossly antisemitic organizations and ideologies is a bad idea in Israel. It’s not just about my reputation and the political inconvenience of being tied to haters of Jews and Arabs and Africans in a country that is predominately Jewish, Arab, and African, and increasingly often, a mix of at least two out of three. I have no love for racism even when it’s not directed at me. I also have no love for worship of capitalism or fascism or authoritarianism whether it’s dressed up as right or left wing.
Pagans and others outside the big three world religions especially have no excuse for that mess. That issue came to a head here recently when we saw our first reported hate crime against a Pagan for being Pagan. Someone’s jealous ex ironically (the irony is that this was a same sex ex using religion as the basis for their crime) graffiti’ed a call for their death on a clubhouse where they volunteer. The Pagan community was up in arms because things have gotten real, which is good. It’s about time people here understood the possibilities.
The real “fun” is coming though. I’m not going to write about it until the scenario fully plays out, but let’s just say the lessons will be painful. Some will learn that you can’t play both sides, especially when you need to commit. Nature doesn’t play the games that humans do.
I suspect that like in so many things, the people I’ve had to disassociate from will expect that now demonspermism lost, although it was a very close race, things will go back to somewhat of a normal. They’ll be forgiven for their brazen goose stepping and folks will just forget they supported people who want all of us dead or enslaved.
Maybe some will forget.
