Don’t Collab With Cultists: Mike Chen Attacks Uncle Roger Over Human Rights But Epoch Times And Others He Associates With Promote Killer Cops and Neo Nazis

🔊 Listen to Post  Those of us who’ve been on the internet long enough and have become something like noted personalities, not quite “influencers”, but just people well regarded in their niche, have all been there. We’ve made the mistake of getting too chummy with the scummy, and then paid for that mistake. Either people inform us of who it is that we are hanging out with or one or more of the people we are loosely cool with kills a bunch of people. Then we have to take a step back.

It’s still in the comments archive, that one that I think may have been from a certain mass murderer. Though I did check his self pity, I didn’t think to contact the authorities because at the time his entitlement seemed run of the mill. I didn’t think he would go out and murder people over it. I also didn’t think that a community I was a little too tolerant of was the nest of his entitlement and eventual homicidal thoughts.

From what I could see, it looked like the options for young men in the manosphere were become a proactive pickup artist and exploit primal vulnerabilities, go mgtow and stop looking for romantic companionship from women, or grow up to be a balanced guy who just isn’t about Disney or the dark side; a balance. I didn’t think one of the options in there could remotely be murder-suicide.

Elvind Berge, one of the guys who did grow up to be a balanced masculine sexualist who promotes honesty with the self even though one has to be compliant to the laws with the line being survival, warned us all those years ago that most of the guys in the manosphere are one blowjob from selling out. We disagree on some things, but we’ve always been civil towards each other.  It’s one reason why I respect him enough to link to him despite our disagreements. None of his beliefs require or include misogyny, racism, or homophobia. He can disagree with certain streams of feminism without disrespecting anyone’s humanity. So we can easily find the places we share common ground. I’m not sure if back then even though he had an idea that many of those guys were one no away from murder, I’m not sure he understood any more than I did that they were one speech away from storming the capitol. Maybe he did, and I missed that post. He’ll point it out if I did.

Had I known then what I know now, there may be nothing I could have done to change things, but I definitely wouldn’t have been telling all my friends who warned me that they’re just guys trying to get by in a confusing world with changing gender roles and identities. I wouldn’t have wasted as much time debating things with some of them, explaining things to others, or being around that community as an example of a woman who didn’t coddle men but doesn’t hate them either. I would just not have been around there at all. At least I would have been gone the day I noticed Elvind wasn’t around as much.

I also had no idea I’d be dealing with more of the fallout from the duped mansopherians converted into “white” supremacists through self pity blogs and then spam in another area: comedy.

A short while ago, one of my favorite comedians who helped many of us have some rare laughs during 2020, Nigel Ng as Uncle Roger, did a collab with Mike Chen, a well known foodie blogger. Shortly after that, some fans, mostly from mainland China, informed him of some important things he didn’t know about Mike, that led him to apologize and take down the video. They’re things most of his newer western fans didn’t know: that Mike Chen is the Mike Chen who was a leading manager of one of the publications responsible for a lot of pro Trump conservative spam that has gone out in the past 6 years. If you’ve seen an image of an aborted fetus, about how trans people don’t (have the right to) exist, or stuff accusing democrats of being pedophiles, chances are it came from them.

Aside of the actual brainwashed Americans and sweatshopped disinformation, NTD and Epoch Times are the main spammers, and where others have somewhat scaled back or closed up since Trump lost, since Falun Gong is a cult, they still have a horse in the race to recruit more members and settle themselves in the west, so they are still full on. What Mike Chen is useful for (so long as nobody knows how deep he was in) is “soft” recruiting. He’s inserted himself in the foodie community and will glom onto other influencers to, well, gain influence.

So contrary to how Falun Gong sympathizers paint it, this is not merely about Nigel deleting a video because Mike makes negative remarks about the Chinese communist party or government. Nigel tries to keep his channel clean or racism, homophobia, and well, crazy cults. So Mike is a hot potato, especially since his religion, which he is not just active in, but is a propagandist for, has very racist and homophobic beliefs. People like to fire back with “so does Christianity”, but Matt. 19 and other passages clear that up. Just because some people calling themselves Christians don’t read their Bible and just listen to what pastor says doesn’t mean it is a bad belief system originally. Even if it was because by then the Hebrew faith had been through quite a few adjustments that weren’t all for the better, two wrongs don’t make a right. I’m not down for anybody promoting the idea that some people have different divine origins as opposed to interpretations. Denial of the Oneness makes a spirituality fake in my view. The anti science bit just makes it even worse.

So Mike Chen is out there recruiting for people who are enabling Trump, his most violent supporters, killer cops, and oppressors in the U.S. while at the same time trying to garner sympathy for the plight of the Falun Gong in China. Like it’s a choice of either-or. They throw African and Indigenous Americans under the bus to gain “white” approval for people in their cult, while Mike’s fans/enablers claim that Nigel threw Mike under the bus for Chinese communist party approval.

So who are these fans defending Mike Chen’s “honor”?

This about sums it up. Anybody who disagrees with wannabe propaganda minister Chen or doesn’t want to associate with him or his cult is called a CCP shill, nazi, whatever, and is accused of supporting genocide. Some people behaving like racist haters while resenting being dismissed as haters have been invading Nigel’s spaces thinking they will troll and intimidate people into cancelling Nigel. It’s not working. It’s actually having the opposite effect. As more people find out about this drama and how Mike Chen’s fans (who strangely always take an aside to promote Falun Gong as “not a cult” and “basically yoga”) are treating people, especially those who are known to be BIPOC or LGBTQA+, which is badly, Nigel gains more support. They should have just left Nigel’s fans alone. Now it looks like Nigel might have to give us another of his recipes soon.
