Mrs. Tremolo?

Well, the subject has come up.  Though I’m reluctant to put any paperwork between us, it is time that he met my parents.  I’m not sure how they’re going to feel about it.  They just got to the point of accepting Shai and his lifestyle.

No rings have been exchanged yet, but he’s prepping.  He’s made it clear that we’re on that road.  During the crucial conversation, I fired back with both our histories of having been legally bound to people who weren’t up to the challenge, logical explainations, and the fact that radical feminists and lawyers have hijacked and basically destroyed the meaning of marriage.  He says that he doesn’t care.  I’m his, and he wants the contract, and isn’t afraid of me or anybody’s lawyer.  He says (in a doing it for America tone) that he wants to get to the business of making a family and babies while there’s still time.  So, we have a direction.

What could I say except, “Yes sir.”

Then I got behind the Verbil Kint mask.  I love what I see.  He’s not the devil, but he’s smart enough to be.  He really did get messed up from his accident and the bodycast and all, but between his will and his brains, he didn’t miss a step in any other area of his life.

Some things I still have yet to see before I’ll consciously believe, but so far everything he’s said has been true or an understatement.  He’s definitely stronger than he looks too.

Looks like I’m going to be here for awhile.
