So what? There’s always Catholic clergy or prominent lay people who’ll say stuff like this.
What she says is true as far as it goes but still totally misses the point.
Of course a consistent life ethic is not merely pro-birth. Duh.
Sound judgement is what is called for. IMHO it’s not sound judgement to say this kind of thing as long as the world is chock-full of people who are looking for excuses for the abortions they or their relatives have had or performed.
