Slavery was not something that rich “white” men did by themselves without women, nor was Jim Crow the exclusive domain of men. Just about all “white” supremacists and those complicit are raised to be this way by their mothers.
Under the current racist system (which is racist against everybody, and just treats European Americans like the house niggers), the only thing western style feminism has done for us African American women, is give us more opportunities to continue to take care of their children and clean their house for minimum wage or less, while they pursue their “liberation”. We don’t find any real freedom in that movement, and I will not adopt their mythology that blames “white” men exclusively for the atrocities committed or facilitated by actively racist or compliant “white” people…or lost “black” people for that matter.
Women have the husbands they marry. Women have the sons they raise. Men do not fall out of the sky a certain way. They are raised to be how they are, and either rewarded or punished for being the way they are. You can’t benefit from, raise, and then reward someone for being a dick, and then blame him for being a dick.
There is an old African story about what happened when the men went too far. The women got together and began to kill every child as they were born until the men fell in line. Though I do not think child murder is a good thing, the hard truth that story illustrated is that women run the show.
When the women of Iceland wanted things to change, they went on strike, not just all the ones who worked outside the home, but everybody. If you want men to fall in line, all you have to do is get everybody together, and be willing to leave your countrymen without any women. If you don’t want it that badly, then you’re just full of shit. If the women of your culture don’t want it that badly, then they are benefiting too much from the status quo to be willing to let those goodies go.
“White” women benefited from slavery, Jim Crow, and still benefit from keeping African American men, for the most part, either locked in fear or locked up. They benefit from keeping African American women in church praying for “white” Jesus to save them, and/or acting a fool trying to look and behave like them. They benefit from the pseudoscience that we are unmarriageable, ugly, and defective even though for those who live their African truth, none of that is true. They benefit from holding us up as postergirls for the evils of men, failing to mention that the men who caused the humanitarian crises that we have to live with the fallout of, are their benefactors.
The reason any of them have the luxury to not be at home scrubbing diapers and shucking corn is because a “white” man either goes out and sweats for it, or is (under)paying or intimidating someone else to do that…and if the pogroms, Nazi Germany, African colonization, on down to the false rape claims still leveled by many “white” and assimilated women against men who dare to exist show us anything, it is that when a bandwagon is rolling, they are just as willing to throw a head under the wheels as the men…and might even make a lampshade out of it.
“White” men do all the dirt they do, all the crawling for money they do, all the killing they do, and all the complying with killers and exploiters they do, to feed, house, clothe, and woo “white” women.
They’re damned sure not doing it for African women.
So talk to me about the patriarchy when you have freed yourself from any and all dependence on men.
Talk to me about the “white” patriarchy being more evil than feminism (read “white” matriarchy) when you’ve done that and you are, without the assistance of “white” men, paying all the women scaffolding your “liberation” a living wage.
Same goes for all women of the either elite or house nigger caste in their countries. Exactly how does disempowering our men work out to our benefit?
